Expandable luggage has an expansion section built into the shell. Open it and the case gets deeper, with room for shopping or souvenirs on the way home; close it and the case goes back to its normal size. RM-030, for example, expands up to 2 inches, and the 24 and 28 inch pieces of MB-012 expand by 25%.
All our expandable suitcases have PC shells, 360° spinner wheels and telescopic handles, in carry-on and checked sizes of 20, 24 and 28 inches. Most come with a TSA combination lock.
As an OEM factory, we customize size, color, logo and interior. MOQ 300 pieces, samples in 15–20 days, bulk production in 45 days.
The case keeps its normal depth, so a carry-on stays within its size limit.
A second zip releases an extra band around the shell and the case gets deeper: up to 2 inches on RM-030.
Zip the band back in and the case returns to its normal size for storage.
Not always. Expanding adds depth, so an expanded 20-inch case can go over airline limits. Most travellers use the expansion on the way home, when the case is checked.
Usually not, because the frame fixes the depth. HQ-007 is our one zipperless model with expansion; the other seven are zipper luggage.
We make expandable carry-on and checked sizes of 20, 24 and 28 inches, mostly sold as sets.
